Composed Journey 1992-1996

“Blurring the boundaries between realms, these relief assemblages suggest the slow drift of both mineral and plant-based plates toward a migratory path, open to an infinite range of interpretations.” Marcel Saint-Pierre 1994, Pluralité 94-95 catalog.

Through a play of manipulation and assembly of forms, the expansive ensembles unfold and fragment the landscape into modules, like a recomposable panorama. The works are composed of sequences, folds, and expansions that extend from the wall space into real space.
